Q.What payment methods are available for vehicle inspections?

A. We accept Cash, Check, Paypal, and all major credit cards.

Q. Will Lemon Prevention perform repairs on problems found on the vehicle?

A. Although all Lemon Prevention inspectors have many years experience in the auto industry we do not perform any repair work. This will ensure that you are getting an objective evaluation of the vehicle and not dealing with someone who is trying to “up sell” repairs that may not be required.

Q. Does Lemon Prevention offer discounts for multiple inspections?

A.Yes, if the first vehicle you choose turns out to have problems or if you find more than one vehicle in your search and want to use an inspection to determine the best value we may be able to offer discounts. Contact us to determine the highest available discount for your particular situation.

Q. Why should I use Lemon Prevention to do a vehicle inspection? Isn't a vehicle history report going to give me the same information?

A. While vehicle history reports such as Carfax, Autocheck, Edmunds, etc... have very useful information, often there are times where information will not be reported through these systems. They also do not give you an idea of the overall mechanical condition that an on-site inspection will determine. All of our inspections come with a Carfax report at no additional charge to ensure you get all the information on the vehicle.

Q. Does Lemon Prevention do inspections on antique, collector, or specialty vehicles?

A. Many of these types of vehicles require a specialist in that particular model. In addition, many will have special service procedures. Please contact us for specific information regarding these vehicles. If we are unable to perform the inspection chances are we can refer you to a specialist who can!
